Redtail Red-Flame Welding Helmet - 10 Filter Non/Auto-Darkening Lens
Standard 10 Filter Lens
Permanent 10 filter with 3.25" x 4.25" view area. Non-auto darkening. Unassembled
filter lens installs with 2 screws.
Redtail manufactures 10 filter lens cartridge that fastens to the shell with two
screws. It includes an inner and outer poly carbonate shield for eye protection.
Headgear:
Redtail manufactures its own headgear. The headgear has an exclusive front AND rear
comfort band. It is as flexible as anything on the market.
Helmet Shell:
Redtail uses certified flame retardant ABS plastic for its welding helmets in order
to meet all international requirements for hoods. The helmet shells have been tested for impact resistance and meet international requirements, including ANSI Z87,1-2003.
The flame and skull helmet shells are painted with special paint and baked in an oven to
cure. The paint adds a custom look to the welding helmet, a requirement in todays market.
Other shells are stenciled using propriety state-of-the-art techniques. The final product is attractive and gets noticed - it is necessary to attract welders who are also motorcycle,
Nascar, and sports enthusiasts.
